The clinical and economic analysis of pharmaceutical providing of patients with peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the in-patient department

The results of the clinical and economic analysis of pharmaceutical providing of patients with peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum are given in the article. According to the results of the frequency analysis of the physicians’ prescriptions it has been found that most of the prescriptions (44.98%) are medicines affecting the functions of the digestive organs. According to the ABC analysis it has been determined that the proportion of the most consumable medicines is 25.71%. The VEN-analysis has shown that 54.29% of the total range of medicines is essential. The results of a comprehensive clinical and economic analysis have shown that the largest share of the costs (66.21%) associated with pharmaceutical providing of patients with peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum is accounted for 7 medicines with the A/E status according to INN, the number of their prescription is 349 or 53.04% of the total prescriptions.References
