Fee for Publication

Information on the fee established by the Journal, payable by the author or the author’s affiliated organization for the processing, peer review, and publication of an article in the Journal (Article Processing Charge / APC)

Authors pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC), which covers the costs of services related to the editorial preparation of articles for publication (editing, correction, layout of texts). There is no charge for submitting and reviewing articles in the journal. The payment is made only after receiving a positive review of the article and the adoption by the editorial board of the decision to publish in the journal, which the journal is informed by the Executive Secretary of the journal.

The cost and procedure for rendering services for editorial preparation of manuscripts of articles submitted for publication, are fixed in the calculation of services, which is calculated by the planning and financial department of National University of Pharmacy (the cost is 112.00 UAH (including VAT) for preparing 1 page of author-written text for printing, properly formatted in a Microsoft Word).

Payment is made in accordance with the Agreement on the provision of editorial services for scientific articles in the journal Social Pharmacy in Healthcare.

The editorial preparation of the manuscripts filed for publication does not involve the translation of the manuscript by English.

A waiver of any publication fee is provided for articles submitted solely by applicants for the third level of higher education enrolled in state-funded study programs, provided that such articles are authored individually (without co-authors). Along with the article, such applicants must submit a duly certified certificate issued by the postgraduate studies office confirming their enrollment in a state-funded study program.
