Aim. To determine the research and methodological aspects of the loyalty of specialists in pharmacy phenomenon, study the level of loyalty of pharmacy specialists to pharmacy institutions.
Materials and methods. Analysis of scientific literature, sociological methods of data survey (questionnaire) and personal observations, logical and typological groupings, analytical analysis and comparison, cabinet (traditional) analysis were used.
Results. Nowadays, adaptation of the personnel management system to a new level is becoming increasingly important. The study of loyalty of the pharmacy specialists is dictated by the need to effectively counteract the negative tendencies associated with the staff turnover in pharmacy institutions. The method of calculating “the net support index” has been revised. The algorithms of loyalty management of pharmacy specialists to pharmacy institutions, which include satisfaction of various aspects of the staff activity, have been offered. The sociological survey of the pharmacy specialist loyalty has been conducted by two criteria of loyalty. The responses of pharmacy specialists received have been ranked and divided into three groups: promoters, passive persons, and detractors.
Conclusions. It has been found that currently there is no single standard for calculating the loyalty of pharmacy specialists. The study of the level of loyalty of pharmacy specialists to pharmacy institutions has been carried out according to the methodology modified by the authors, and based on the customer loyalty management concept by Fred Reicheld with the reoriented attention to the staff of the pharmacy. The types of behavior that are characteristic for each group of pharmacy specialists, have been determined to eliminate the negative effects, increase the level of the staff loyalty in the groups of detractors, and activate actions in passive groups.
